    Morning all

Working from home today so I've started re-runs of Gardener's World, everything recorded from May 2015 image. I always find the difference in light and greenery so uplifting

Have OH's cold but luckily it's just snotty and nothing too debilitating

    Morning! image

Having a very lazy day today after spending the last few days entertaining my in laws. We had a very nice family Christmas and they are lovely people but it is nice to be able to wander round the house in my jim jams & not have to be thinking about the next meal while I'm still clearing away the last one!

Drove them back to Yorkshire yesterday. Suffolk to York and back in one day is quite a hike and the roads were horrendously busy - but we were home by 6 & glad we made the effort.

Saw some minor flooding - Ferrybridge power station wasnt looking too clever - but last night our old house in York was in the red flood zone on the env. agency flood map. First time ever in the 30 years since it was built image

Hope everyone on hereis staying safe& dry and can fight off all the lurgies that are out there at the moment.

Off for a short bike ride soon image
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Morning all.

Just back from an emergency appointment at the Docs'. You know you're not great when the Doc greets you by saying " I have to say, you look rough"

Erring on the side of caution, he's put me on antibiotics.

Cuppa tea then back to bed.

    Devon.

T'bird - re in laws and visitors - that's why I'm glad to be single image

Good to see you Liri. We were a bit worried that you might be flooded out, but hoped you would be higher up and escape it all. image

It's all quite hellish for the people concerned. Bet you're glad you aren't still in the old house too T'bird.

Windy here but dry just now. Could I put my washing out? I'm already bored and wishing I was back at work...how sad is that image

Looking like I may get a walk tomorrow ....that'll cheer me up image

and An American in Paris is recording so I'll watch it later image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
