  • Hello folks - I'm back and very stuffed - OH is cooking curry - I don't think I'll be able to manage more than a cuppasoup and a piece of toast ... in a few hours time!

Lovely lunch here http://debut.ccn.ac.uk/restaurant-home  - very good food and great service - we left them a healthy tip image

And no, they didn't offer me my old job back ... phew!   image

I luuuurve Luther Hosta. Well... Idris Elba anyway....imageimage

Go on - 'fess up...that's why you watch it isn't it? image

    Quite brutal but addictive.

Cute pic chicky. I like that look - better than when you were just an egg...image

Very mild here- about 7 or 8 when I came home. That's what passes for very mild here at this time of year. At least we've lost the horrible freezy fog we had yesterday.

Heated up leftovers for dinner here. I love that image

Oooh ....and my crampons have arrived image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I forgot the hair appointment this morning until after I'd posted,  luckily I was half way through putting my face on and my lovely hairdresser always forgives my bed hair hiding under my hat image

The appointment was also early enough for me to get into town afterwards although I didn't get enough tree decorations as no one had what I wanted, I will have to pop in again tomorrow. Must be colour coordinated or Christmas ain't worth doing image

Do I sound a little bit control freak? I have a little bit of Anthea Turner in me image

Nearly got all the presents today so not bad for first day of Christmas stuff for me. Slipped in a bit of shopping for me too, well it's been all house for the last few months image. Just got food left now.

I was thinking the perfect present for me this Christmas would be a year's National Trust sub so I can really get out garden visiting next year, maybe the little yellow book hiding in my cracker could be the cheaper option?  image what a lovely dream, and my new year's resolution image

How's the crazy season going for everyone else?

    Morning Jo, Morning Doveimage

Early start today ....another Christmas do for me today, but a meeting to get through firstimage.

Yesterday's lunch was good - my baby photo was guessed on the basis of the vintage of the pictureimage.  The others are all mere youngsters, who had their early years captured in technicolourimage.

And good morning to those that followimage

Morning all. Had a visit from our daughter and grandson today, so that was good. Bit tired now, but thinking about the evening meal. Something easy after a filling effort at lunch time. image
