Morning all. Yes, Fairygirl, my little bags were raved over (ashamed to admit I was chuffed). She kept picking them up and admiring and sniffing them. In the end I was getting embarrassed, so took my leave.
my internet is doing strange things tonight, so I slightly out of sync with other lists. Never mind, I'm sure you've all experienced similar prob
ems.
We just had a very heavy burst of rain/hail. Maybe that's why the Internet is playing up.
Glad everyone seems ok. its good to know that Punkdoc and Bushman are around still. I'd started to think they had floated away in floods.
Wear n tear fairy, years carrying big bags of grain etc but yes i think there's arthritis trouble as well. Oh the joys of getting older Gday Pat, yes still here was a bit dodgy for a wee while but managed to weather the storm
went to see the neurosurgeon last night and he confirmed I have a "bulge" And it's still there, it hasn't caused and damage and I will make full recovery just have to be patient as can take 3/4 months to repair but at least no surgery. So it's onwards and upwards, albeit a bit slower than usual for me which will be the hard part! Thank you everyone for all your kind wishes and support It does help and I in turn send healing thoughts to all who have pain
reading back, re house removals we have a different system in Scotland but guzumps seem to be happening more and more which is wrong and I dont understand why.
Bushman you take care please
Dove enjoy lunch, always fun catching up with old friends!

Hi Lily Pilly, goodish news for you about your spine, but needing patience. Take it easy until it's better, won't you.
i meant to reply to your comment about the country roads in Australia that you mentioned earlier, but got sidetracked. I think the thing that is hard for people to get used to is the soft edges created be the graders pushing the soil/gravel to the edges. You need to be aware that of you let your wheels wander to the edge, you have to know how to handle the changed conditions. Some of Hubby's photos showed where they had slid to the side.
Secondly, poor Yvie's second born to be messed about like that. There's some terrible tales of buying on here, never been in that position but yes please to how the french do it!
Going shopping today after I lost my mojo yesterday. Spent all day in bed exhausted, I kid you not. Watched all the first dates on catch up, half a dozen location location location and a bit of gogglebox. And ate far too much so rushy rushy for me today, already got me tree up this morning, decs to follow but need some new ones I think. Christmas food to get, OH presents, stocking fillers for youngest plus presents from him for his two older brothers, then there's bits of decorating to finish off, need a new sink drainer that stacks the other direction and can fit in my cupboard, and that's off the top of my head!
PS oh yeah and my new phone for Christmas needs one of these new fangled micro sims which of course I will need to visit phone shop to get today even though I know not what I'm looking for will definitely be sold the wrong one and I'm doing all the leg work for my present
So glad they have a plan LilyP - albeit one with a slow burn. Take it easy. Invest in some good books to keep you occupied over the next few months.
Bad news for Yvie's daughter - no wonder they say moving house is one of the great traumas of modern life....I'm sure it doesn't have to be that way, there must be a better system
I, too, have a works Christmas lunch today ( and another tomorrow - been working for two teams this year). Today's involves baby pictures .....this is what this chicky used to look like .....do you think anyone will guess

I'm watching a show by Chris Bearshaw on the Nymans garden at the moment . Pretty spectacular and the history of the garden is very interesting.
