    good new re car Dove.

I'm glad my van is so old it has wind down windows and doors which have to be locked / unlocked individually with a key.

The more techy they get , the more to go wrong, especially as now it's almost impossible to fix your won car without " diagnotics"

I'm for bed now - a bit weary tonight for some reason. Big day tomorrow with friends arriving. She rang from Lakes Entrance tonight to confirm they'll be here in the morning.  Meals being discussed by Hubby and I trying to have it all sorted and ready to go. Hubby made some meat pies yesterday and they're in the freezer so won't take much to defrost and heat in the oven.

weather forecast for next 6 days is heavy rain. I don't believe them, but it would make a change not to have to drag hoses around all day.

Good night all, sleep tight when your clocks catch up to mine.image

    Night Pat sleep well.

Pdoc if you like Bowmore try Dalwhinnie. i like the smooth smokey dark malts, but there are no bad malts just some better than othersimage

  • The rain has well and truly arrived, very dark and grey..and ...its my day off....and.... I have a load of washing to get done......typical...grrrr!

Agree 100% with Bushman , no bad malts , some just better than others , they also help the dark winter days float by image

Hello folks!  I'm back, and so is Lola (the car image).

It's clouded over a bit here now - is that because there's a load of jeans on the washing line do you think image

Good news about the car, Dove.

Rang OH, he got the pills from the vet and doggie has been clean and quite perky on his walk. Hope it lasts. We are going to Norfolk and Eastbourne (OH's grandchildren in Eastbourne) next week and I hope house sitter can cope. He knows doggie is old and in poor health.

Going out to explore a medieval village with daughter and grandsons this afternoon.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
