    Morning all.

Early ( ish ) one for me.

    Good luck Chicky.

Bushman, sorry about your sad news.

Many many thanks for all your kinds wishes. I will of course let you know what "ortho man" as he's become , says.

Much rain and high winds overnight but, allegedly brighter later.

On a plus note. 3 hedgehogs again last night and Mr Blackbird has returned to the feeding station this morning. Not seen him for ages.

Hope all poorly peeps, poorly pets and irritable OHs have a good day.

Thanks to all for your hugs and wishes i didn't realise how much the old boy meant to me, however i'll put on another thread about him so you can all see why he was so special to me.

The weather here is wet but calm and quite mild.

when i'm driving the lorry i see many cars that the indicators or headlights seem not to be working it takes only two minutes to flick on your hazards and walk round the car.

    Punkdoc.

Re winter holiday. Bargain to be had in Red Sea. OH spotted many for 4 weeks, all inclusive , 5 star in Jan inc flight from Gatwick for around £1,000 for 2.

We're planning something along those lines after "Ortho man" decides what's what later.

We're also heading to Cape Verde on Nov 23rd for 2 week, no matter what "Ortho Man" says.

Have I ever mentioned I HATE WINTER?

Cheered up a bit, just ordered 2 cases of wine, hooray.

Hosta, thanks for the info, but have already booked 2 weeks in Grenada, in January. Too long to wait, but guaranteed sun and high 20s.
