So sorry to hear about you cat, Bushman I'm dreading my old poodle going.i think about it often. We become so close to them. Look after your own health and I hope we can all comfort you at this sad time. My best wishes.
Bushma:, sorry to hear about your cat. They do leave such a hole in your life.
Dove: my truck has a canvas back that I can remove for ease of loading tons of horse muck, car engines, trees... does that count as a soft top?
Chicky: sorry to hear about your husband! I'm glad the rest of his heart is okay though.
Hound woke repeatedly last night to let us know stuff was happening outside. He's now fast asleep with his teddy on the bed next to my sleeping partner whose struggling to recover from having to do a night shift.
Morning all. Love to Mr chicky today, all fingers and toes are crossed, and hope the results are good for you Hosta.
Bushman - sorry you're feeling so down, but your friends are here to give you support, and hopefully cheer you up a little
W'song - have you tried stuffing your bag with newspaper to absorb the wet? Just keep changing it. Works well with walking boots or they take forever.
fidget - it's unbelievable isn't it? Don't get me started on the cars with no indicators jo ..... it's all me, me , me
Rather a hellish day here today. The little birds will struggle to get to the feeders in the wind. I watched a little coal tit yesterday happily sitting in the cage, picking out his favourite bits to eat and chucking the rest to the ground. He must feel quite secure
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Bushman, so sorry about your cat, sad news. Time for me to send you a big hug back after all the ones you have sent for me lately.
Wintersong, been very efficient here and done my i*****g already this morning whilst catching up with Unforgotten (very good thanks for the recommendation folks), but then I haven't got a drippy handbag to deal with.
Very best wishes to Chicky and OH today, thinking of you both.
Full B&B tonight, plus dinner for them all and a sleepover for a friend of Charlie's, busy busy busy.
Have a good day all.

Bushman. Huge hugs, I have probably wept over more animals than human beings in my time. Try to remember the happy days and know you gave her a good life
thoughts are with everyone having challenges to face today, this too will pass
winter might your bag come under household insurance?
damp here, sciatica back think I will have to go to the Caribbean!
take care

Don't talk to me about idiots who don't know that their cars have indicators

Bushman I'm sorry to hear about your cat. It's so hard to lose a constant companion but I'm sure your cat had a lovely life with you. ((Hugs)).
Winter you'll have to re-write your Christman list on a longer piece of paper so there's room for a handbag at the bottom
.
Have a good day everyone
