Thank you all so much for the good wishes and the hugs - you are a lovely lotimage.  We will walk in there tomorrow just a little bit taller and positive as a result.

Hosta - fingers crossed for a good result with the ortho tomorrow, and for niece Verdun on Friday.  What a horrible thing to have built yourself up for a procedure, only to have it changed at the last minute......too stressful for wordsimage

Hello all. I'm staying with daughter 1, 3 small sons. We went bowling this afternoon. I was hopeless, then got a strike on last go! Was quite good in my yoof but now have arthritic fingers.

Hello Chicky, I've missed you on here. Good luck to Mr Chicky tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you.

Good morning everyone. I'm a bit late getting on today - Hubby had his 6 monthly blood test this morning which was a fasting one, so we went into town early.

Weve got sun, cool breeze and little bits of scattered cloud. No complain!

Thinking of Chicky and family today ((hugs))

At last the sky is clear - I've been out in the garden in my jimjams and dressingown  and seen Venus, Mars and Jupiter shining brightly in the east http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/visible-planets-tonight-mars-jupiter-venus-saturn-mercury .  Couldn't see Mercury 'cos it's further down towards the horizon and the hill's in the way, but I know it's there image

Bit cloudy here. Better than rain and fog though. Yesterday visibility due to spray on the M1 was 100 yards.  How many cars with no lights on?!!!'

Promise of sunshine again today, gym for me and a growing mountain of ironing that I didn't get round to yesterday

Drippy handbag is drying out over the bath with lumps like wallpaper, hoping they go down. No room on my Christmas list for a new one image
