Thanks Pat: as long as its hot and well and keeps my hands occupied so I can't throttle anyone its good for me!

Topbird: I'm not keen on these dark mornings either. It was 4'C yesterday morning and I was very keen to go back to bed and hide! Only 7'C here this morning which means the museum will be freezy cold today. Oh heated buildings I remember you fondly...

Hi Wonky. Hope the cold settles down - rotten timing for you with house and job things happening.

Slag bol - I'm saying nowt...  image

Take care of yourself WW - I know how easy it is to get a bit run down when you have all that stuff going on. Workmen are a complete pain in the h**e when they're unreliable aren't they?

No time for extra cuppas here, Clari and T'bird - have to go to t'mill now - but I'll have another one when I get there. Good strong Yorkshire tea for me  image

    See you all later image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Morning all.

Sunny morning with a beautiful haze on the meadow. Tree colours are amazing.

    Have a good day everyone

Talking of OCD/CDO - don't think I have it, but all my books are arranged properly - non-fiction according to subject, fiction alphabetically - likewise the CDs.  How else do you find the one you're looking for? image   We've got hundreds of books.

Even the cookery books are grouped by author/subject matter e.g. Fish: Floyd, Stein etc - or is that COD? image

  • Morning all, lovely here but a bit chilly. image

My books are all arranged a bit like that Dove so it must be normal. image

Getting increasingly fed up with my bandaged hand/wrist, seem to be thwarted at every task I want to do, even knitting was tricky yesterday, gardening too dirty , cleaning too wet, baking too messy, I'm fed up with it. image

Hope everyone else is OK, least the sun is shining. image

Just sounds like common sense to me Dove. I didn't even realise that my books are somewhat ordered until somebody commented on it.

It's not done obsessively, but by subject or author for fact or fiction - and then by size & colour to make them look nice on the shelves image
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Me too Dove. I like things to be easily retrievable and I really hate someone rearranging my kitchen cupboards. When our son visited some time ago he casually put saucepans any which way in the cupboard. I got a bit loud. Maybe OCD comes in various degrees.  image
