Hi Verdun and Lesley. I must say that I'm relieved to get some posts from you both. I was thinking I'd done something to upset management.
i didn't think about it being dark, only the clock. I'm with you Verdun about not wanting to cut the solanum back until the flowers are finished, they look so nice with their white flowers against the green leaves. Lesley, our ants aren't as vicious as those army ants. They are what we call meat ants, and they don't tend to bother us usually, but they get aggressive if you disturb them, which I did, of course by pulling at the roots of the weeds. The whole garden area is a mess because I've been out of action for so long, and it's beginning to bother me. I must admit I had a good laugh at Hostas helicopter story. Great fun.
Morning all and hiya Pat Thought that was a typo and your hubby said you were past it ....
I think Hosta's having us on - I think he was kipping out there to protect his hostas
It'll look strange for a while having that gap Dove. I've removed a lot of lower branches on the big conifer at the back and I notice how odd it looks just now!
Another chilly night here last night. It'll be a good day but I have to work. We need a 'big sigh' smiley. It only just got into double figures yesterday, despite the sun, but it was lovely and the changing colours of the foliage is a delight as always. Verd - you need to move up here to get that cold weather and colour. I'll lend you a jumper or two .....
Off for a quick look round to see what I've missed.
Have a lovely day everyone and sleep well tonight Pat
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning Verdun and Dove
. It's a shame the tree's going Dove but you will have fun planning the new bed. Sounds as though you've already started

Morning all! Back to work today, if anyone could keep a large supply of tea handy that'd be grand!
Hi Dove. Good on ya for having a sleep In.
Hi Clarington. I Eonky got Twinings Australian afternoon tea, is that ok?
First bucket of tea consumed but I'm not enjoying the start of the darker mornings - makes me want to go into hibernation mode.
Not too sure what the day will bring - maybe some allium bulbs to plant, insurance to sort out, h/wrk to be done - what an exciting life!
Hope you enjoy your second day at work Panda.
SYL folks
Thanks for that Lesley...
