Morning all. Have just read back. I used to have a cat who would periodically have  a "cat fit" and tear around the house madly and tip all the picture frames out of line. And then he would just flop on the lounge chair and calmly have a good wash and go to sleep. It used to drive me crazy.

I also had a disturbed night Hosta. HRH started gasping and panting at 4am and woke us both up. After pretending to be asleep for a few minutes and hoping Hubby would get up to her, I weakened and got up and let her out. Trouble is, once I'm awake, that's it for me, so I spent the next hour or so reading my kindle book. Then I slept so heavily that I didnt hear the alarm which had been set to get us up to take a fire truck into town for some mechanical work. I was woken an hour later by Hubby ringing me from town to ask me to come and get him. Der!  My heart was thumping for ages afterwards.  I hope I don't get a repeat pattern tonight.

all of our neighbours were asking why it was hovering over our house.

I notice that on ABC TV just now that the govt in the UK have decided to stop guarding the embassy around the whistle blower (forget his name). Wikileaks bloke.  They mentioned the amount of money it has cost to do this. Just think how that money could have been used to help the homeless Etc.

I had to laugh about why the helicopter was hovering. Are you sure they weren't looking for the type of plants you had in your polytunnel? image

the story is: they'd found a crashed car but nobody inside, so they were looking for the occupants.

My tunnel had a heated bench , about the size of a box capable of housing a hiding man.

So I reckon the heat censor picked it up as a posilble hiding place, but I'm just guessing
