We have a woodburner but it's still too warm here to light it - was at a meeting today (Open Gardens) and we had it in the garden with tea and cakes, sorry perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned that. Did get to see Buzzie Lizzie though, had a lovely chat.
FG, we have 5 showers here, one a 'P' shaped one and they are all a 'P'ing pain to clean. Unfortunately, I am the cleaner, but no-one here sees fit to tidy up before I start, I want Punkdoc to move in.
Anyway, goodnight all, am exhausted from sorting Shadow out, looking hopeful, just a case now of how far I have to travel and how soon anyone can take him. The Forum Forkers have definitely saved the day.
Guests in the B&B tonight, want breakfast at 7 am - what!!! Best get to bed. night all.

Morning all. Miserable day here - have just put thermal longuns under my tracksuit pants to try to get warm. Knitted gloves on and hunkered down on lounge. Fire still lit. It's not been out since 1 April! I just know that all the stone fruit will fail again this summer. They've been flowering for weeks and now its back to really cold nights again.
Must tell you the solution for hiding bulbs that an old dear told me about years ago. I gardened for her for a couple years. She used to cut the top couple of inches off ice creams containers and push that rim into the ground around her bulbs. That way she always knew where they were. (I suspect she made a point of telling me so that I didn't rip the plastic rims out when weeding for her.) wonder if she's still alive? Probably not, that was about 20 years ago.
Thanks DD, a bit warmer now, but getting fed up with such a long winter.
i keep wondering how 0ne of seven is getting on in Brisbane. No doubt she'll tell us when she gets back. We watched Who Do you think you are last night -Brian Blessed - and thought about those of you who are from the Lincolnshire area since he was on about it a bit. I can't understand why some people always speak as though they are on the stage quoting Shakespeare! Oh well, I guess that's what's he's used to. We wanted to watch Mary Berry next, but for some reason the recording hadnt worked, so we missed her. We then watched the compare of Voice UK, his name escapes me at the moment, his ancestors were from Ghana. Very interesting. The new Voice UK is just starting again, so Hubby has downloaded the first episode.
Panda, I can hear you now! Hurrah! So embarrassing.
It looks quite promising here this morning and it's market day. There are a couple of good plant stalls so I may be tempted to indulge. Would be rude not to
Pat I hope your spring gets a move on and that you soon start to feel better.
DD fingers crossed that you find the right home for Shadow. I'm thinking of you.
LilyP hope you had a great time last night after all your hard work in the garden. Should I keep my voice down?

Have a good day everyone
Morning all,
Absolutely hissing down here this morning. Very dark and a bit breezy.
I was going to spend the day doing bits in the garden, but obviously not now
Think i'll do some cupboard sorting instead.
Take care everyone, have a good day.
