GH fits perfectly in its space Verdun, can't walk in so trays have to be removed to water, bit tricky. Also only a door so no extra vent.

Wow that's some rain now! You getting it punkdoc? Think you're a bit further south to me. Glad I finished planting bulbs just in time. JB is fab !
  • Hope the weather on sunday/monday is not as bad as they sayimage

SGL, its a rhus tymph something, stags horn. It keeps throwing shoots up through the decking - gorgeous in autumn but don't be tempted! a very badly behaved tree with a to die for autumn show so it gets away with murder!

Hi all.  Fellow Yorkies..sounds like we are all getting vile weather, in space of 15 mins it's gone from being dry and ok to hammering with rain, can't even see across the road.

Fidget, how unjust & sad, hugs for you as well.

Punkdoc, I'm also very relieved to know  I am not the only one with catalogues etc. Didn't know if I should post that snippet but thought, if people think I'm odd they might be correct.  I also has CBT ( brilliant for me, no more meds) Do you think they implanted that coping device in us? imageimage

Off to concentrate on cooking a meal..maybe a glass of vino will helpimage

MrsG Sumach ( Stags Horn) if that is what it is, is a sod. I dug mine out following advice on here & glad I did as I still get bits popping up. I'm sure other posters will say stuff about it. I loved it but glad it's almost gone.

  • Oh what a shame, I thought it looked beautiful and was thinking of putting one at the end of garden (backs onto fields) you have both put me off. I would like a tree which had that colour leaf in the autumn any ideas please
