Verdun, looks like Cornwall may be in for a good summer if the cetaceans are arriving this early! I suppose the sea didn't cool down too much over the winter.
First day of my hols - don't feel great when the pills wear off, but fine when they are doing their stuff. OH has today off too, and is coming garden visiting with me - so at least i don't have to do the driving. Will report back later ..... But am very excited
Lovely to see Ggirl back - look after yourself. Zingy lime should wake those poor commuters up
Hope the ring turns up KEF - hate it when something like that happens.
Panda, Lily, hope work (or more to the point, colleagues) are ok this week - amazing how the workplace can bring out the worst in some people.
Wedding ring found in pocket of gardening jeans worn Sat'.
After I posted about scrubbing my nails I remembered him rinsing hands under o/s tap, as he was busy he rubbed them dry in his pockets....what !!! We do have old towels & kitchen roll. Thanks for all suggestions, he is now wearing it through his nose.
Chicky have good day.
Fidget, put SIL's stuff on drive and see if someone nicks it
As for clearing parents' houses - we cleared my parents' house when they went into residential care - siblings' contributions aren't always helpful My son and son in law were complete stars! Family heirlooms were distributed as per their Wills - some stuff went to auction, some to charities, some to tip. Boxes and boxes of 'precious belongings that they have no room or need for where they are, and important paperwork' reside in our garage!!! Can't get rid of it - it's still theirs - can't do anything with it - it's just taking up space and I can't get to anything of mine in there When one of them goes we'll have to access some of it quite quickly - it'll be chaos!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
KEF Think he owes you ................ maybe a trip to the GC?
Many years ago I'd lost weight and was gardening - threw a pile of prunings onto the heap - ring flew off and went with them !!! I stood stock still and stared and stared - there it was, hanging on a twig!!! I think it's amazing more rings aren't lost and found in gardens.
