  • Good luck with the research and the interview Panda! If it helps I used to teach interview skills and if you need any extra tips feel free to message me. Fundamentally though it is all common sense - do you sound like you could do the job and do you sound like you want it (and will stick at it)? - and keep smiling. image

Some pics of our morning walk, including the poor lonely pony I take a treat to every day.

Right, hotels for overnight stops to and from Cornwall all booked up.  Cheap and cheerful Travelodge on the way down - something a bit more comfortable (a Gt Western)  on the way back so we don't undo all the good the holiday is going to do image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

We stayed in a Travelodge in Windsor, really cheap and really comfy bed.

We are going back to Suffolk for a few days in September on our way back from Sicily. Not really the way back but we'll be flying from Sicily to Gatwick and we liked Suffolk so much in July. Well, actually it's Norfolk - Diss. We were very taken with Diss. It was a glorious sunny day then, maybe we'll see it in the rain next time!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

In for a drink - a cold one rather than tea for a change as it's image!

Looks like the recliner I used to have Dove - but I wasn't very good at reclining, not for long anyway. Always spotted something that needed doing. I was going to sit on the bench earlier but started repainting it instead.... image

RB's lettuces (or is it letti? image) put mine to shame. I've had to grow stuff to cut inside. The weather was rubbish and I've only just got round to planting some into bigger containers. Hopeless old mare  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
