Did you have a different name then, Gardengirl?

Have finished typing up minutes from Monday's meeting. Phew! Am not a fast typist.

Hello Gg!  - and everyone else; my first visit to the forum for today.

Unsettling events for you, Verdun.  Road accidents are so common nowadays that we seem to accept them as a fact of life, which can't be right.  Maybe it's nobody you know, but some mother's son (or daughter) nevertheless...

On a happier note, great news about your holiday, Lesley!  Have a great time.  image

Punkdoc, you could do worse than spend the day with the cricket - Aussies 86-6 as I write.  The only ball sport I get passionate about!  image

DD, I had a giggle at your cat's contribution to the forum.  Mine tries to nosey in from time to time too image

Nice morning here but now showery.  Glad I got my outdoor jobs done early...  Had to go to the next town earlier to buy a couple of little gifts for the granddaughters, as we're off to Galway next Tuesday to see them again, yippee!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Afternoon all.

Never really got started in the garden today. One of the joys of retirement, is that there is always tomorrow.

Watched cricket instead, nice to be stuffing the Aussies again.
