Don't worry about the brugmansia.   Mrs G.  The ones in my greenhouse all look like sticks. The cuttings in a jar of water on the kitchen windowsill have grown roots and the oddleaf and are ready for potting on. Its still only early march!!! This time last year the earth was still frozen solid.

I think punkdocs gang of marauding long tailed tits has just arrived, along with Mr and Mrs Mallard. They must have heard the delivery man with fresh bird food knocking at the door.image

    Happy birthday pandas OH.

Thank you everyone just leaving now to see her.

MrsG  is of the geranium family --Renardi---spelling?

Whahey (?) thanks Nut - gold star for you, not an 'O' but close!image Love love love it.

SGL - yes in geranium family, silver star for you.

That reminds me Tracey - must get more osteospernums rather than the common variety I have, must look up what colours are available, seem to remember deep pink.

FB thanks, yep still early but we get worried about these babies don't we?

SGL - did you just sneak the 'renardi' in? Looks like it in google images. Nut's right with the name though, might be the same thing. Are you competing for the gold?

I'm hoping my snowdrops will be here by weekend so I can get them in image

Panda, happy birthday to OH, sorry I must have missed you post mentioning it image

Me three Tracey! Although we're busy all weekend so it may be a case of planting by candle light on Sunday night! (Which at least might help the "natural" layout)

We are however ordering the ManShed on Saturday morning so expect lots of pacing until its delivered! (Also ordering some compost bins but I don't think they have the same wow factor!)

Ha ha! It does look like we're all about the ManShed and garden doesn't it! Unfortunately you're rather right. We've decorated the one room (office) but the master bedroom (we're sleeping in the guest room) has turned from what was meant to be next on our list to a dumping ground for boxes as yet unpacked, the lounge is last on our list (fortunately - major work needed there), the kitchen needs ripping out (and I've spent all my money on the pond) so wont be touched for a few years... trouble is after spending all day in an office we just want to get out and get some fresh air!

We need the master bedroom done by August. Plenty of time to concentrate on that vegetable patch first...

Well, it's happened again.  I went to Lidl to buy the OH a hedge trimmer (as recommended on another thread) and a Camellia just 'jumped' into my trolley....and 2 Marguerites....and 5 packets of bulbs.....and a new kneeling pad - OOPS image

The Camellia is very pretty though, or at least will be when it flowers and I didn't want my 'old' border feeling left out image
