Evening all. Rain has finally gone off. I love it when weathermen/women talk about showers...we get five hours of rain with a couple of breaks of dry-ish cloud image

Clari - glad you're ok. None of my business, but make your feelings crystal clear. I've spent too much of my life feeling invisible - and worse - and I refuse to do it again. This 'worm' turned three years ago and I wish I'd done it much sooner.

Lesley - was concerned your OH was in the freezer along with the shoes....image

Welcome Bushman - hope you enjoy the forum. image

Hello Bushman, nice to have another north of the border! I am sure your skills will be called upon. They are a lovely lot this crowd and share knowledge willingly

Trying to catch up after Grannie duties, you have all been sooooo busy! beaus mum what do you have for breakfast? obviously what I should have, such energy to do all that.

Clari be true to yourself,  everyone else can wait!

Fairy has it really just rained and rained here? could hardly get into the garden for the weeds and was only away a week! filled 4 barrows with prunings yesterday and there is still masses to be done. Found a philadelphus I didn't know was there!

Tomato bushes look good and so much less work than cordons.

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

Evening All. Garden is looking a bit spritzed up after a day of much needed light rain and drizzle. No need to water the veggies tonight - hooray image!

Welcome aboard Bushman - any idea what to do about voles in my raised veggie beds? Little b**gers eat the beetroot and carrots from below image I love my cat but he has proved totally useless at sorting that particular problem.

Clari - lovely to 'see' you. Sorry you had such a pants weekend - hope things sort themselves out one way or another.

Everyone else seems to have been busy bees. I need to get on sorting out the jungle now the tennis has finished & attend to other jobs put on hold for the duration...

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    Evening all and welcome Bushman2.

I've spent a lovely couple of hours in the tunnel potting things and now realise I have rather a lot of plants image How ever did that happen?

I've got over 60 Miscanthus Nepalensis which I grew from seed.

I'd never come across it until last year, the flower heads look like the tiniest of golden beads.

Drizzle forecast tomorrow so back in the tunnels.

    Devon.

I've got tennis withdrawal too image

We've had drizzle all day - it's just what the garden needs but I'm not used to being indoors all day image

Wonky, don't forget I've got some pale yellow calendula plants for you image
