Sunny here. I may cut down the hesperis and see if I can shoehorn a few cosmos in.

I hope everything goes well, lily.

We still have loads of jam left from last year. Since I cancelled bread in our house, after OH was diagnosed as prediabetic, we haven't been eating it.

Ive also got to deal with all the goosegogs. I only grew them for Dad.image

Oooh LilyP - how exciting!!! image

The blue sky we had earlier has clouded over, but the sun's trying to come back - according to the weather people the sun's going to win ........ I hope it's soon image

Fidget - we love goosegogs here - we had some for supper last night, cooked with some elderflowers and eaten with lovely creamy yoghurt.  Perfect after lambs sweetbreads with broad beans and a cream and parsley sauce - how seasonal was that? image

    Morning all. Warm and sunny.

Going shopping, lunch at Wok place then visiting DIL and new baby in hospital.

DD you didn't say, would you like chocolate cake for Sunday? I still have your plastic cake box.

    Good morning all,

Beautiful day here. Must get out soon. Sweet rocket has been marvelous this year. will I get a second flush if I cut it down? Thrilled to see tiny flower buds on the brugmansia. I grew it from seed two years ago but it never flowered last year.

Pippin is lovely. I think she has landed on her feet to have found a home with Mattie.

Lizzy, how long do new mums stay in hospital? They kick them out within hours in the UK.  When my first was born we had to stay in ten days and the second four days. I had my second at home as I didn't want to leave my daughter for four days.

    Morning all.

Glorious sunny day here and just the lightest breeze. Grass cutting marathonn to-day methinks.

Just back from Physio, she's referring me to her boss as it's no better.

Nothing from Verdun this morning. I do hope all is well.
