I just think it looks a bit rubbish and looked better when it was just doing it's own thing all over the place!!!! Maybe it's because I've cut it back a bit and hopefully when it grows and I can train the new shoots it will look ok.
I presume you've fed it rose food MrsGarden? I've never fed any of my plants before this year (except my orchids of course ) and I can't believe the difference in them already
Thank you ladies, as long as your sure and not just being kind, I'd rather know the truth I am actually going to buy another 'obelisk' (they were only £6 in wilkos) for my new Iceberg rose, but that is still small so will be easy to train as it grows....which is what I should have done with this one.
We now have a red rose and a white rose....to keep both sides happy
Thank you Lily, I know - my mum drummed it into me LOL, I don't normally pick them anyway, they are at opposite ends of the border, or will be when I plant my new one
This pirate is saying night night, read threads but too tired to respond. Have eaten and now so dozy. Off to bed with book for a very short time I predict. Have a good evening all
Wish I really was 27.
Lizzy just saw you before I flake out. Have a good time See you soon.

OL it's going to be fine - try to train the new shoots around rather than up and then it'll fill the 'obelisk'.
