Looks like a good but hard days work KEF, look like it's worth it though, I love that shape of GH, might need another
Dove, your GH must be HUGE, I am panicking I don't have room for the half a dozen toms I've grown, all the same variety! However, my Tumbling Toms arrived today, I am sowing 5 of each, 1 for 'waste' in case it doesn't germinate or I kill it (that's my only allowed margin of error!), 2 for the GH and 2 for outside
I bought a 'thing' don't know what it's called, like an obelisk but the wrong shape, to train my rose up.....I don't think I've done a very good job, lost a few shoots on the way but it's growing loads so hope I can train the new ones.....will it look ok??
I've never done anything with it before and tried to get it to go along the fence but i t really didn't want to!! I need it teach these plants whose boss
Evening All had a full day in the garden today I was in my element, boarder along the next doors back garden fence dug out ready for planting my sun flowers to hide tthe horrible thing.
.
My sympathy for all those who had very sad things to talk about this morning.
Off out crack of dawn tomorrow morning to some local woodlands with the volunteers not been to these woodlands before so looking forward to it
OL, I don't have a greenhouse - they'll start on the windowsill and then they'll go into the mini-greenhouse and when they're bigger they'll go into their big pots and be put outside on the terrace - last year I had about 20 large pots full of tomatoes.
I'm not going to grow so many this year - some of this year's are going to be given to a gardening friend - the only problem is, she might give me some of hers
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

No comments on the actual rose so I guess it's the same reaction as OH gave......"What's happened to that???"
Just jealous Tracey, cos my only rose will take years to get to that size.
Sorry Tracey, didn't think there was anything wrong with the rose, looks fine to me
