  • Morning guysimage  early start cos grandchildren events to go to today image wow Hosta that bed makes my half a dozen dahlia and two canna look tinyimage would love to see a pic when they all show their blooms.  Started to clear the greenhouse out yesterday and the plants seem to like it under the cloches. Done the usual slug and snail pickimage

    The bed is about 60ft wide and about 20ft deep at the deepest part. I'll try to get a photo when I get back from work.

    Those dahlias sound quite a sight Hosta! I was happy I'd got over ten sprouting! image

    Would love to see an in bloom picture, not to mention a picture of the ducklings!image

    Clari, I love getting up early on my day off, especially if its sunny! You have more of the day to yourself and can fit so much more in your day!...hope you enjoy yours!

    Yes Dove, think I'm getting grown up! I listen to radio 4 and 3 now cuz its relaxing!.......although I have banned myself from the news, but only for the next 5 years!

    Quiz night was fun and we finished somewhere in the middle. There was a very good turnout and lots of money was raised for Poppy Scotlandimage.  I'm just not used to late nightsimage.  Off for a wet walk to wake myself up.
