    Morning all.

Worn out after a day's gardening with OH yesterday.

The new bed is planted now. About 50 dahlias , 50 cannas , some herbaceous and 3 stipa.

Off to work for a bit of a rest.

    Devon.

Okay so who mentioned I might have chance to sleep in this morning? image

Little puppy woke me at 06:30 to let me know he was awake. As he's had an unsettled belly I thought best to leap up and take him into the garden.

He has now gone back to bed, snoring away happily, and I daren't go and climb back in mine for fear of waking up the grumpy OH.

Still at least we'll be early to drop off the resusi anns!

Hoping to go and visit the pond centre this morning to find some more marginals for something I'm planning in (unsurprisingly) the pond: I have some floating baskets that I can peg down where appropriate to move plants towards the centre of the pond and create some cover from the sun until the lilly breaks the surfact with a few more leafs. Hopefully it'll help with evaporation and blanket weed!

    Morning Clari image

I can clamber in and out of bed as much as I like in the mornings - the only thing that wakes OH in the mornings is the alarm!  Strange 'cos he's a really light sleeper in the night - but in the mornings?  Completely sound asleep image

The bed is about 60ft wide and about 20ft deep at the deepest part. I'll try to get a photo when I get back from work.
