Feeling the need to get hold of Poldark from somewhere ( the programme not the man - yet) really feel I am missing our over here.
OH has banned me from the 'soon to be rockery' as my back has been awfully sore, he's like a knight in shining armour sorting it for me - and doing a very good job too so far. The cynical side of me thinks he is worried he might have to cook for himself if I can't get upright, but that is just mean.
I have managed to weed a couple of beds and plant some lettuces out and also made up two hanging baskets ready for summer. I know they can be a bit naff but the barn doors lend themselves really well to them and I do use geraniums which is very French, probably should call them pelargoniums too.
Guests arriving again tomorrow but am hoping I can keep gardening without getting too dirty to greet them - hoping anyway.
5 out of 12 dahlias have shown their little faces, should I be more patient or give up, has been a fortnight in pots in the GH??
OK, bedtime for me, have to get to sleep before OH arrives or his snoring keeps me awake all night. Good night all.

Good evening all,

MrsG, oh dear,
RB, i'll be gentle with him, promise
Hmmm, nothing I can say to that Runny!

I'll try it later...
Watched Poldark earlier, what a shame it's the last one next week
Not seen corrie, but it has got rather daft of the past few months.
On a brighter note, we had a beautiful red sky tonight, so it looks like we're In for another sunny day tomorrow
Evening all,
I've booked myself a week with Poldark down in Cornwall in May. That's why he is taking a break from your TV screens, he'll be too busy
DD I've got one Dahlia out of 4 showing in the greenhouse at the moment.
RB I've not read all the way back, what exactly have you done twice today???
