I am afraid to say I have retreated from the garden, it just to hot to be working out in it and I still have loads to do .The weeds are winning the battle so far. I have to work tonight. I wonder if I dare to abandon Hubby and Son to the milking tomorrow morning and get an early start in the garden.
Can I share some of your sunshine too please, Fritillary and other southerners? Though the drizzle does seem to be stopping at last.
Lovely to have so many spring garden photos - you've all been working so hard. DD, I echo other people's comments: it's your garden now and you've been working miracles in it, by the look of things!
Re what to call my circular sunken seating area: on the Colosseum/Amphitheatre theme, my OH suggested "circus", but I'm favouring "pit" at present.
I've been forced to do more HW... hope for better weather tomorrow.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Liri I don't believe you've been doing housework. You just sprayed polish in the air. That's what everyone does. I'd love to see a pic of your seating area too. If I had one it would be full of water in no time.
Thanks for the use of your tap Beaus. That guy had better turn up on Saturday morning. He can fix the newly dripping kitchen tap while he's at it.
Quite a successful shopping trip this morning as I managed to buy a short coat and a summer top. Didn't spend all my money because it's GC day tomorrow. Quite fancy a white clematis to join my rose (Handel) on the obelisk. Any suggestions of what to choose gratefully received

Oh Liri come over for a cuppa or a glass or two

You can't call your beautiful terrace a pit! What about a verandah?
And please can you post some pics as I want to pinch some ideas
Beaus Mum You could always take the wheelbarrow to the garden centre.
Our old Guide Leader tent had a bit that we called the veranda, and we said Panda's on the Veranda

Lovely tulips Rb, but you must have lots of large plants in the garden if you can overlook a shed
.
Meant to say how lucky are you Beaus living so close to a GC? Expensive but brilliant all the same
