    Ok,thanks chicky, (pandaaa, stop teasing me!). I'll have another look when less distracted but I didn't know why someone said AWB had worked hard (although I do cos saw on another thread and it looks great) also couldn't see fidgets post which lily said thanks for. Probably my eyes or cpncentation, or both. Never mind.

    MrsG,  I asked if anybody could help with a clematis to grow up obelix and one for growing through a shrub. Fidget gave me a website to look at.

    Idon't know what AWB worked hard at tho.

    Just seen the voice, doh.......won't say incase someone has skyplussed it.

    Yeah Lily, went back and looked/read properly, AWB got 2nd & 3rd on lottery. I love 'empress' on that clem website.

    Mrs Garden -so far  in the wilderness behind the pond and under the big ash we have  arum italicum, actea rubra, vinca major, alchemilla mollis, sambuccus 'Sandersons Gold', Geranium phaeum, various lamiums, primroses, viola odorata, carex, pulmonaria, water avens,  various native ferns ............. etc etc etc 

    Still some more to plant ............ 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Oooh yes MrsG,  so do I. It flowers all through summer too. On the list!!

    Dove, roll on the photos, I know you're far too busy to be taking photos but...pleeeese! I think my sister gave me arum, is it known as lords and ladies? I've planted in my stumpy stickery, was going to move alchemila from somewhere else to same place as I don't really like it and always cut the flowers offimagemaybe too much information thereimageNeed some ferns for there too, (stone dry,shady!) going to a flower fair soon i think they had a fern specialist last year (Flowerpowerfairs).

    Today OH built the sides for the new herb bed, and stopped when it rained.

    I planted out 4 dozen broad bean plants, pricked out the Salvia coccinea, and Rudbeckias cherokee sunset. and got wet.
