Ggirl - Losely Park is lovely - right near me.  The walled garden is all divided up, and they have a great white garden.  Might still be some roses too.  Sorry, don't understand codesimage

Just done the rounds with the hose - tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines and peppers coming along well.  Moved a bird feeder over to my aphid infested sweetpeas at the weekend, and i'm convinced it is making a difference already.  Have certainly seen loads of blue tit chicks in the garden.

glad the KEFs and Fidget had a lovely dayimage  And that Lizzie is enjoying her Rose timeimageimage And that Pandas roots are no more ..... And that st swithuns day has been nearly dryimage

KEF, glad you have a lovely day image  and everyone else seems to be doing ok too!

Weather's going to be jolly warm tomorrow - don't forget to keep your hydration levels up folks - we need water just as much as our plants do!

Forecast for our outing to East Ruston on Saturday is a 40% likelihood of rain - still, should keep the crowds away imageimage

    Evening everyone,

Gardengirl - we had pancakes tonight as well, left over mix from Yorkshire puddings, with banana and choc spread, mmmmm. Had a pasta bake gammony thingy first which was also nice.

Kef and fidget, feeling a bit green with envy, would have loved to go back and see fidgets garden, I can just imagine instead.

Garden should look reasonable for the 'do' at the weekend, fingers crossed. Always more difficult to impress non gadeners, I love the plants and flowers but many people just see the ' bigger picture' / garden as a whole, which I tend to overlook most of the time and never get right when im planning!

How did the interview go panda?

    Have a good evening all.

Glad you and OH had a lovely time with Fidget today KEFimage

When you've finished your planters for the apple trees Fairy we would love to see a photo or twoimage.  Panda and lily - another day ticked offimage

Chicky I haven't put the feeders by the roses but we have had a garden full of birds this afternoon and they have been all over the borders picking off aphids.  Mostly sparrows feeding their fledglings but also a couple of wrens and great tits  I just sat and enjoyed watching them for agesimage

MrsG and Gg you've confused me.  I thought it was St Swithin's Day but it turns out it's Shrove Tuesdayimageimage

I forgot to watch the bees KEF image I'll have to get it on the catch up thingy.

I've taken some pix Lesley so I'll stick them on  a thread somewhere. I hope the birds enjoy my garden when I'm at work because I think I scare them off always sawing bits of wood and joining them together and generally making a nuisance of myself  image
