Right, off to visit family - OH will be here in charge of laundry and compost turning - both well within his capabilities but can you let him know if it starts raining and he needs to get the washing in image

    See you later image

    Morning.

Well done getting an interview Clarii hope it goes well, keep the bills paid until the dream arrives.

Got me thinking about agapanthus now...have avoided as expensive and seem a bit unreliable/difficult....

Got lots of 'bitty' jobs to do today, list has been made so hopefully won't forget anything.

Tomorrow is an early start with sons 7am appt, then nice work, finish early to go to school for award ceremony with fingers crossed as son nominated for one.

    Right...jobs...

Today we learn: don't sneeze while holding a very hot iron in  your weak arm.

    Your nail will break.

Your skin will smell of bacon.

    It will hurt.

Still I like the fact it could be warm for 40 days... Verd the paddling pool is more like a mini pool and my lo is a water baby ( swam a width on her own last week and only 3 years and 2 months old!!! Proud mum) that's what I meant when I said I would love to see a garden design that incorporates children toys I have to contend with the big yellow and green slide/ climbing wall and now an 8 ft pool/ paddling pool.... Try making a garden look good around that!!!!

Rose has been adorable, chatters a lot for someone only 2. Having her sleep. Then we are going back to hospital to see her Mummy and baby sister.

I planted my Agapanthus, Panda. Have enough pots already! Wanted the contrast of the leaves in the bed too. Just wish I know how hardy it is, lady in the GC said they always leave "Star Quality" outside in the winter.

Verdun said "Well, still alive and kicking after my comment yesterday  (tongue in cheek) on the sexism thread." Now I'm dying to know, which is the sexism thread?

Stacey, there are garden designs with a bit set aside for toys and something soft on the ground, like bark chippings, but cars like Edd's, I think, are better on a terrace.

My boys had one of those Edd, the bottom one in red and yellow.....they were still playing in it until we moved to this house 5 years ago (aged 8 and 11 then), the difference was, in true boys style, 2 boys would be in/on it and 2 would push it as fast as they could down the street until it toppled over on my lawn to raucous laughter!!!  In fact I say boys, there were 2 girls used to play as well image Being a scared mummy I didn't watch!! image
