All i can say is i am so glad we had spellcheck on the pooters where i used to work, can you believe i used to write letters as part of my job! Have to say all of the one "they" screened passed 100%...must have been more luck than judgement!
I just type on the forum in the same manner as I speak, I wasn't at school the day they did grammar I must have been at the dentist, but did get a grade 1 "O" level in Englisg language & lieterature Maths LOL
Guys, could i have your opinion please. I know ive been banging on about that greenhouse, but its really annoyed me how awful it is, they could even have put a warning with it to say it shouldnt be used in windy conditions, bit there wasnt even instructions! I dont want anything from the company, but i really feel its such a poor product, they shouldnt be selling it, do i carry on with my crusade or just leave it alone for someone else to get conned into buying it?
Bekkie I think some people with very sheltered gardens are fine with them if they strap them to walls / fences, so I guess they'll say it's down to judgement
Kef, i agree, i had lots in the past, some only cost a tenner, but this is by far the worst, the cover is now totally shredded and two of the legs have come off, its only been up 6 weeks at the most! I very firmly secured it with buckets of bricks and guide ropes, its in the south facing border and i taped the joints on the legs to help stop them coming apart, its really really terrible!
Bekkie, I think you could post a 1 star customer review on the website highlighting the problems you've had & saying you don't consider it fit for purpose. That way prospective buyers have some warning.
My 4 (5?) tier Gardman greenhouse has been doing stirling service for several years & I'm only on my 2nd plastic cover. You do have to find a sheltered corner for it & weigh down the bottom shelf to stop it blowing over in strong winds, but I have found it an excellent cold-frame-alternative & supplement for my potting shed. Mr Mouse can still get in it and eat every last one of your pea seeds while you're on holiday though....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I would say not suitable for purpose Some peeps will have spent £10 with high expectations. Ten quid is ten quid and not always easy for some peeps to find.
Ive just started a new thread, im wondering if maybe i got a dudd? Kef, this thing shoud have been 50 quid! I'll wait and see if there are any other comments, but im thinking of going to trading standards
Topbird, im the same as you, ive still got most of one ive had since we moved in almost 9 years ago! Thats mainly used as a shed now tho!
Ive only got smiley, winky or tongue sticking out emoticon wotsits, im not actually happy about it!

Can you re-cycle the thing into a cold frame?

Something odd with our internet access today - it comes and goes...
Dove. I'm not clever enough to do a proper link for this (believe me, I've tried!) but at
