Very chilly wind this morning and I need motivation to get out there. Bekkie, as KEF says you should really pace yourself. I am pacing myself so much that I don't start
Glad you're still with us Hosta. I remember my Gran cutting the green edges off the cheese. Our cheese never lasts long enough to go mouldy.
Lesley, we buy the " perfectly ripe" brie, leave it about a fortnight past its date, then leave it out overnight before eating it. Yum. I hate cold cheese.
It's a beautiful day here again, on a mission to do a couple of hours on the VAT return and then get in the garden for a bit.....I can do more VAT when it's dark
I don't pay much attention to best before dates, common sense is all it needs
Right, off to stick my head in paperwork, bye for now x

Good morning, also chilly here 5C and overcast.
Dove you'll have to get the tickling stick out for the broad beans
Winter are you working today
Bekkie you'll have to learn to pace yourself, hope you feel better today.
morning all.
A little overcast here to-day. I think we've been spoilt by the good weather of late.
Went to showroom yesterday to look at new lawnmower. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM Nice.
oops, just noticed the yogurt I've just eaten is " best before Feb 12th"
I had one yesterday too and am still here to tell the tale.
Hostafan, no need to worry, yoghurt can be eaten when past its best before
I have a friend who only buys it when it is past or close as it's cheaper!
Morning all
Good morning all
sorry I broke the forum Friday night!
Im off today and hoping sun will come out! Got lots to plant and sow from the pound shop and wilkos
did you order new mower hosta?
hope you all have good days and not too cold for you!
must get dressed And get cracking
4th Panda, ditto. Our fridge is full of " out of date" food.
Look at it: sniff it, taste it. That's what helped humans survive until they invented "sell by /use by" dates. A marketing con.
If you need a sell by date to tell you when a cauliflower is past its best, you're in trouble.
Morning all
Brrrrrrrrrr jolly cold here this morning.
Hosta

Have a great day everyone.
