    Hi everyone

Back from the gym after a tiny bit of shopping in town then had lunch whilst discussing with OH whether I need to buy a heated propagator or not. We both decided I could do without so I'll be giving this year's seeds the slow-pro treatmentimage no guarantees thoughimage

After that, I decided to get my a*** in gear and pot up all my bags of bulbs and tubers which comprised 20 Liatris to add to my clump I have already plus the five Chocolate Cosmos (first time I've ever grown these). I had to bring the bag of soil indoors as the weather was quite turbulent outside and I don't have a greenhouse...yet. That option is agreed upon, it's just a question of when, need to landscape the bottom area first and I'm not in any hurry, besides, the one I want is rather expensive and I'd feel better if it was a combined birthday/Christmas pressie or something like that.

So, dining room table it is for now, all the pots washed and bags emptied although I'll do seeds tomorrow, I'm pooped nowimage

Well done punkdoc for deals done on cars, Dove for spreading her luv, Yvie for wearing out the granddaughter, Clarington for managing to find a day off, (and posting super cute pics of Reggie) and everyone else for...forimage...forimage...forimage ...for contributing to this forumimage I love hearing about everyone's day

  • Sorry RB, bags had already been dropped off at charity shop by the time I'd read your post.x

Very bitter wind out there today, brrrr

    Lovely pics of Reggie, Clari.

    Good luck with haggling Pdoc.

    Enjoy meal and film RB

Hope all poorly peeps with colds, flu, bad knees aches and pains feel better soon.

    See you later peeps x

Hope you've had good news about your x-Ray Hosta.

Bekkie - shame about your greenhouse and hope you can find a way for it to stay put. You're right I can't avoid all the bad weather on the way up but will take it easy and if needs must will stop for cake and coffee at every servicesimageimage

So it's not just me that brings bags of compost and pots into the houseimage.  Reggie looks well settled Clariimage

    Have a good evening everyone.

  • Lesley I bring bags of compost in and sow seeds inside when early in the year

welcome back to " knee watch"

Doc says " there's nothing floating about in there. I'll sign you off until March 17th but I'd like you to see the physiotherapist who might refer you to the Ortho consultant"

Called physio and she told me I was " a priority case" and she could give me an appointment on the 4th....... of April!!!!

Glad I'm a priority case. image

Called back to Doc to see what she advises now.

Might pay to see consultant privately.

    Devon.

Finally got to see the Doctor this evening. Had an appointment but still had to wait as he'd been called out for an emergency. He'd worked an 11 hour day. Anyway I have bronchitis and sinusitis as secondary infections from the original cold and OH has bronchitis. Now have a bag full of medicines, including antibiotics and corticosteroids.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Hosta, hope you're not in too much pain. Could you ask to get seen if there's a cancellation,  waiting till the 4th April image

Busy Liz, so sorry to hear you and OH are so poorly. Very best wishes, hope you feel better soon. Big hugs x
