Afternoon folks, Spent all day yesterday thinking it was Saturday, so I suppose today must be Sundayimage.

Sorry to hear you were ill over New Year, had a similar problem a couple of years ago on Christmas Day.  No idea how I managed to cook dinner but we all sat round looking at it and no one could eat it.  Wish I had waited a few days and celebrated Christmas later.  Have a good one tonight.

Rain has finally stopped here but its been really dark and gloomy all day.  Must get the SAD lamp out for a quick boost.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Very dark here now and still lashing down.

Very lazy afternoon here.......feels like Sunday.......have watched a few '24' back to back. Now having a cuppa with bikkies image........well they need to be eaten, waste not etc image

Lyn, I now have a pic in  my head of you leaping about the lounge boxing lol. Perhaps we should get our wii out, may help lose the pounds after the chocs etc image

I emailed Lovely Builder asking if we're going to see him on Monday - the reply said "Damn well hope so got through four bottles medicine umpteen amount of tablets olbas oil you name it I've tried it got bad chesty cough and headaches still though no one else has caught it..."

Well, if his wife and kids haven't caught it .........

And cheers to you too Matty, I hope you enjoy your New Year meal.

OH had norovirus on Boxing Day 2 years ago, so did Son No 1, I bumped into DIL in the kitchen looking for a bowl for him. I was doing the same for OH, but afraid the carpet suffered!
