BL - which bit of Suffolk do you need B&Bs in?  I used to live in Mid Suffolk (Framlingham/Halesworth area) and have family in and know Suffolk Coastal (from Southwold down the coast to Aldeburgh/Orford area well - if you need some suggestions for those areas PM me image

Evening all,  Shattered after taking the Christmas decorations down and putting them in the cellar.  Tomorrow I can give the place a good clean and then it's back to normal for another year.

Been browsing all the plant catalogues that have dropped through the letterbox over the past few days and trying not to indulge.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

I'm from Silly Suffolk originally Dove, mum's family were all based around Bury St. Edmunds. I now live as an exile in Essex. A local Essex man, friend of the OH, called me a foreigner when he found out where I came from image And to think I grew up on the River Stour, right on the Suffolk/Essex border! House was in Suffolk, most of my childhood playing was done around some flooded gravel pits, in Essex!

Had a lovely time out in the garden today, mowed some grass before the bulbs start to come up, did a bit of pruning and tidying. Dug up some carrots for lunch.image Got a free day tomorrow too. image

RB - sounds like you got some real bargains! I have opted for Vivaldi for spuds this year. GW magazine rated them quite highly. Not sure when to order them though as wasn't sure whether now is too early or not?

PD - hope you manage to resolve your GH issues. Must be awful for you. I have come to rely so much on my GH not sure how I managed before.

Lovely pic, Chicky, may use it as my avatar pic, if I can remember how to do it! I will stick to my name then.

Dove, I've been having fun with Google and B&Bs. I know Southwold of course, because of Granny and we want to go to Beth Chatto and Bressingham Gardens, among others. I will contact you though, but it's now bedtime.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
