  • Hello

Went to GC later on and there are lots of plants half price did not buy any, just brought bird food at a good discount as the pack I got is meant to be used by 1.1.15 and marker pens for labels

Lots of potatoes on the shelves

    Nearly the allotment challenge

That sounds good Chicky about the manure for your garden

You were very good Gg, just birdie food.

Chicky glad you're enjoying your hols, looks a lovely place for a walk.

Q for the new years day flower count do we count all flower heads on violas or is it counted as one?

Hi Gg, I'd just list violas. It's always cold out there  and trying to count each flower would take too long (for me)

OH has very strict rules for our count, flowers have to be  open enough to see the parts inside and not so frosted you can't see colour any more. I'm not allowed any form of cheating (as if I would image )

New Years Day flower count Lyn. How many different plants have you got in flower on 1st January.

Very variable results here. lowest was none, all frosted off or under snow.

    highest was 40+

I expect something in between this year.

    Wildflowers count.
