I've had to go out twice to defrost the bird water. Even the pond (2,500 litres of moving water) is freezing over. Lovely and warm in the greenhouse though!

Chicky - that's so cool!! You lucky devil you image

Freezing and white here, no snow though.  Went to a couple of garden centres and picked up a few Chrissy decs at half price for next year.  Ate a very nice scone with jam and clotted cream and had a good gossip with my best mate.  All in all a nice day.  Off for a quick look round.

I am so enjoying my holidayimage

  • Oooh!  Blue skies - that looks lovely Chicky - whereabouts is it?

Flippin chilly here - just turned the heating up a bit.

The birds have finished squabbling over the raisins and are all snuggling up in the neighbours' laurel and pyracantha hedges.

That looks lovely chicky, where are you holidaying?

Nice to read about all your goings on, but far too much for comments!

Just positioned, but not yet finalised and secured xmas pressies robins tteapot.

Considering where to out my new camellia. Maybe re-do the' feather bed which didn't work as I'd hoped. Not very sheltered there though. Maybe widen the back border but will not leave a good.lawn shape...possibly re-do the front garden, again not very sheltered...

Decisions, decisions MrsGimage.  Have fun deciding, then redeciding - its all part of the joyimage

Its a staycation here - just a holiday from workimage.  Photo is of Frensham Pond - in the heart of the Surrey countryside ...... never gets much press, but it is a beautiful part of the country if you can escape the roadsimageimage.
