Off to the GC tomorrow, to buy my mum a plant for Christmas. She doesn't NEED anything I can buy for her, but a pretty phalenopsis or similar lasts far longer than a bunch of flowers, and when her curtains are drawn back in the morning she invariably says "Oh, how lovely! Where did that plant come from?" (One of the few benefits of dementia is being repeatedly grateful for nice things. And forgetting when you've been ill... )
Ah. OH has delivered the old lady's hot milk, so I shall sleep soundly... Night all!

Glad others have issues with some of the food that's out for the birds - when I first put it out it took a blue tit to show the sparrows what to do!
Have had a lovely day today, spent 'Christmas Day' with two good friends and ate till bursting We swapped amazing pressies - all happy with what we have and watched films and tried not to snooze
KEF, deffo no pasta 'till June - cardinal sin to miss taping a prog
My OH is not in disgrace, Strictly was recorded. I'm all tellied out! Strictly then The Apprentice. But I can't send KEF a DVD as we have a hard disk thingy. I've heard that the dances are now all on U Tube.

Dove happy birthday to Dove jnr I did watch on Iplayer but it kept stopping, so it was a long afternoon the cook went on strike and a takeaway curry was the Sunday meal.

It's my son's birthday today - I'm going to drive down to Suffolk to visit him this morning - his friends are arranging a bit of a do this evening.
