I was up in time Dove, honest, just forgot to press send!

KEF, what about big thick socks, some heavy duty gardening gloves and a hat for when he's performing undergardener duties image image

  • Evening all, sorry gingerbread got postponed, been making elves shoes from serviettes instead - with some help from Santa!

Will do gingerbread tomorrow, hope no-one has skipped dessert whilst waiting. image

Clari - feel your pain and impatience - hoping our process will be quicker, however, all our negotiations are in French so just a tad tricky! We might be getting a gorgeous black labrador, but then again....

Pdoc (& others) - feel your pain too - had baby blues for a long time, seemed mad, gorgeous healthy baby, doting and supportive OH, but burst into tears at every conceivable moment, ridiculous sense of despair, completely overwhelming at times. Unexplicable to so many, very isolating. Hugs!

Matty, very best wishes - you are so brave and so positve, good luck, hope you feel less sore v. soon.

Runnybeak - strike a light (oops probably not appropriate turn of phrase) bit of an adventure, definitely deserving of roast lamb dinner. Dare I ask was it lamb flambé? Ooops sorry again, glad you survived. image

Think I should go to bed now, goodnight all. image

Glad you're home Matty! Hope you are able to sleep well tonight.

KEF - since starting to work with 3 - 11 year olds my immune system has taken a battering and I've caught every cold going. This latest is a lingering chest infection which isn't ideal. Definitely not allergic to dogs I spend a good time with my bosses spaniel and of course weekends with a very hairy german shepherd who just has to be on your lap all day.

    Hope you all sleep well!

Matty I am so pleased you are home, take it easy, lots of rest and I am sure you will be sowing seeds in Spring, just as before. xxx

  • Good morning all image

Very mild temperatures overnight - the lowest was 9.1C and it's 10.7C already image  Most unusual.

Today's tasks involve finishing off the last of the wrapping and getting my hair cut.  I'll probably cook a meal as well   - tomorrow is OH's birthday and he wants a Day at the Seaside! imageimage
