Verdun ((hugs)) glad you and mum had a lovely time - a tot of sherry and some music - makes us all feel a bit more human again, even when times are rough. Thinking of you both.
I visited my two today. They'd had a visit from carol singers and handbellringers last night and apparently Ma sang along for over an hour and was on fine form. She didn't remember a thing about it today, but the good mood had carried over and she was happy today. Pa had remembered all about it. Today was a very different visit to the last one thank goodness
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Freezy here too - only just about zero outside b n above 2 degrees all week but at least the thunder and lightning and hailstorms have gone. It is the middle of December though and we've had hardly any wild winds at all yet so can't really complain
Been a bit AWOL this week so I'll go and see what you've all been up to - though I'm not sure I'll be able to catch up.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good morning Dove and everyone who appears.
Also dark and cold here, looking out the cars are icy but I can't see if there is a frost. Glad that your Ma enjoys music
Enjoy wrapping up
Pleased to hear that your visit to mum was a happy one Verdun.
