Good day to you all, too dark to check outside but probably damp. Carol has just used the word "murk".
Exciting day here in Happy Valley as we launch our Recipe Book, produced in the village, from family recipes, by 5 people. 2 cooks, 1 photographer ( who used to photograph for Delia Smith and others), 1 technical expert, a whizz on the computer, and yours truly. As coordinator I did a lot of shopping and tasting. The end result looks really professional and yesterday we were interviewed by the local press, which also appears today. The launch is in the shop with some tastings. Can't wait. Just in time for Christmas. Should top the bestsellers list by then.
WE shouldn't be embarrassed by our sartorial efforts of years ago. They were fun and attractive in their day. Can you remember what our parents wore, coming out of the war and austerity? Today's dumbed down fashions, if that's what you call them, can't hold their head up either. What's wrong with a bit of flamboyance, which in my case included kipper ties, huge lapels and Oxford Bags. Translation available for the younger members, but definitely no photos.
One more day in the office, one wfh and then .....Berlin here I come. Best start some lists and making some little piles of stuff to pack .....yes, I know it is only for 3 days, but the packing phobia kicks in with me even for an overnight stay
Good morning folks - milder again - no frost - just more torrential rain. I'll be going to the docs for a fasting blood test in a bit, then I'll stay in the city and do some more Christmas Shopping - better find a brolly!
Mini skirts at finger-tip length, black kneelength boots, loadsa mascara and a Twiggy haircut - that was Dove
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Nice brekky, but I'm not really doing much food yet. Still trying to rehydrate. As a pre xmas diet, norovirus is pretty effective. 3pounds lost this week. Probably all fluid. With all the antics over the last week, I think OH has forgotten it's my birthday.

Oh poor you Fidget - Have a Lovely Birthday!!! ((hugs))
At least you got over it before Christmas - my Christmas Dinner two years ago was half a slice of dry toast, and that didn't stay where I put it
