Still not had a frost here, in fact last two or three days have been beautiful, think it's coming though, forecast this week is cooler. Heating engineer was here yesterday (just needed a clean luckily, no nasty bill), and he was saying how bizarre the weather has been this year.
Leaf tidying and a bit of pruning of the roses today, perhaps a bit of weeding, can't believe I am not rushing around with more jobs than I have time for, seems very odd. Once I get out there will probably find lots more to do.
Am going to be good though and go back to the Body Pump class today. Yesterday I was asked to go to the local college for lunch once a month so the students can practice their English, apparently it's a four course fabulous lunch, happy to oblige but can't afford any extra calories so need to get some gym time in.
Dove hope you don't stand out too much at the auction in pink and buy something inadvertently.
Good day to all whatever you are doing.

Change of plan here - son arrived and decided that as I was coughing and sneezing and and have a bit of a sore ear I shouldn't go and stand around in a draughty warehouse with him, so he had a coffee, gave me a pair of his jeans to patch, and left! Now I have a sewing day planned
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Raining here today, but yesterday was lovely, the ground was frozen on the top but I managed to plant some of the tulips, moved some daffs, planted out 40 stocks and a couple of trays of violas, was hoping to finish today. Still loads of compost to be spread, I am leaving the dahlias in this year, they will have to take their chances, i will mulch well and hope for the best. I have taken seed as a back up.
I think I will spend the day catching up on emails, everyone has been so kind and thoughtful and I really need to write back.
Anyone I miss, please dont think me rude, I really appreciate your thoughtful concerns.

Hi Lyn, good to see you. Best wishes and hugs. Hope all ok x
Thanks re charity clothes, not sure what to do....as perhaps by the time we've driven to one of those places we probably would have spent it in petrol money. Don't like using those bags that come through the door tho.
Hope you all have a good day. Keep warm everyone. Brrrrrrrrr
