  • When 'typing' words on threads, they seem to be various sizes. But come out same size when looking back at them once sent, although sometimes jumbled!

  • Morning all, just in for a cuppa after pulling miles of ivy from the surface of the long bed.  It's amazing how many 'runners' grow from the wild hedge at the back over a year (plus all of the new self-seeded ones of course.)image

Still, at least it's done.  Last year I 'forgot' about it until the Spring and then I couldn't get it all out because of all the bulbs coming through which I didn't want to damage.

Right, now refreshed for stage two so out with the saw, sledgehammer and screwdriver!image

Thanks Bob, I'll get out there and get my hedge done as soon as the leaves are off.

Archie, I think the text changes could be related to blood alcohol levels. It all looks a bit odd at times

Thanks Archie, a bit rich for breakfast, but I'll manage it and it'll set me up for some work outside.

    Morning Everyone

Not been here for a few days. Have hurt my back and has made me a bit low, and not sleeping very well. I think it is on the mend now, and had abetter night, but am being very careful.

I planted my garlic, laid the fire and then couldn't stand up. OUCH. Did plant garlic in garden and lay fire in houseimage

Garden full of leaves that need to be raked, but they will still be there next week and hopefully will be able to do it then

No seasonal smilies for me it seemsimage

  • Hi Matty - thought it had been quiet around here for some reason - not able to put my finger on it but something was missing image  Glad you're on the mend image

At least if you'd laid the fire you could put your feet up in the warm!

Morning all nice and fresh just had my first walk around my garden in over a week as been in hospital. Collapsed at my work week past on Tuesday first teacher in found me lying in the corridor unconscious and phoned 999. Ambulance crew could not get me to come around could not find a vien in my arms so put IV needle in my ankle which i never felt. Next thing i remember was waking up in resuscitation and had been for a CAT scan on my head and neck. Next day moved me to a ward and got MRI head scan and also a Lumber Punture which took 15 attemps to get the fluid which was really sore back still black & blue now and a bit sore yet.Got a little bit of a shake in my left hand now waiting on word to go to the Royal hospital in Glasgow for an EEG then wait on all the results from the tests to find out what caused it not to drive till the consultant tells me it's alright. Wife taken me out to garden centre tomorrow for a little while looking forward to that just a matter of getting stronger each day now and get back to work so hopefully be on here more over the next few weeks take care everyone enjoy your greenhouses and garden's.

  • Oh Andy!!!! Bless you!!!! Take your  time - let people look after you - nothing needs doing in the garden that won't wait or can't be done by others.  You just get better soon!!! ((hugs))

Andy, that sounds a bit dramatic. I hope it turns out to be something easily dealt with.
