  • Evening all rain has been on & off all day but I managed to squeeze in a few hours here & there so bonus, I am hoping to have at least half of the garden dug over tomorrow & all raised beds filled image

    Thanks fidget, have seen that 'make' at our local gc, have liked Chantily for awhile. Also quite like Princess Diana from another site to scramble through a shrub.

    Have spent the day making trips to the local stables to fill our clapped out landrover with FYM.  5 trips, and 40 wheelbarrows later and my roses are now fed, my sweetpea bed is prepared, and there is a lovely mountain of black wormy stuff ready for use over the next few weeksimage

    Just realised my little vegetable plot is 4 metre x 3 metre.



    hmmm... should be large enough to start with.

    Just waiting on leftovers for tea. Was o utside till half 7 as it cleared up and got to the balmy heights of 12 degrees image

    Last fiddly bits of fence painted and put on at back gate, and one piece of trellis attached and lots of seeds sown. Took the labels off the new Clematis 'Constance' to start fixing it to trellis and there was a little ladybird hiding inside the label image

    My horse came second but I didn't put any money on. Woe is me image

    Last years's winnings paid for some plants!

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Just googled your clematis Fairy - its gone on my listimage.  Its named after my Mum!
