  • Still wet and (dark) grey here in Leics and has been pretty much all week (apart from when at work of course!)  Itching to get something done in the garden but, with clay soil, likely to cause more harm than good. image  Looks like more browsing for seeds and plants for next year, so not entirely a washout! image

very cold here for a few days so other than taking the heaps temp. now and then its been mostly movies. JOHN WICK-interesting but keanu reeves is such an opaque actor. NIGHTCRAWLER-wow wow wow and jake gives an alltime great performance. and then FURY which is so good in so many ways. and saw the previews for gods and kings which is sort of a remake of the ten commandments and looks absolutely ridiculous. where is cecil b. demille when we need him? was down to -6C last night and only 5C today so winter. . . . . .sigh. have been stirring up controversy on another garden site so have come here to be peaceful. hope all your lives are as pleasant as mine is right now.

chucking it down again here...PLEASE dry up weather!image

  • Morning Chicky and Becky,

Understand both your hassles with shopping - hate it (with OH anyway). We had to buy a lot of stuff to bring here, (v.expensive here) and we spent months beforehand arguing, sorry discussing options. Luckily Ikea is a 3 hour drive away now so we won't be going very often. Good luck finding a sofa though soon Chicky.

Sorry to hear about your dog Matty, so sad.

David, won't be trying those roses, and curious about who and how youv'e been upsetting people! image

Wet again this morning but forecast looking up.image
