very true fairy, I've had two good years of them so next year may prove fatal ( la venders I mean). Just an opportunity for something new!

    Sunny and cold here.

Day one of not having to go to work today and I get woken up by the man who gives me a lift and has clearly forgotten I'm on holiday image

    Morning all.

Loads of tulips to plant. My children gave me lots for my birthday. We had the rain that DD had too. Poured in the evening. But the forecast for the week is now better than it was.

But must muck out horse shelter before next hay delivery image, aching shoulder coming up!

Not sure what's on the cards for today image

Need to pop to the shop for some ingredients for a lovely sounding gammon dish for tonight.. . . image

  • Mrs G - wish I was organised, trying so hard to get ahead a bit whilst things have stopped growing so fast, namely weeds, but just when I think I am catching up I spot another area that needs doing. image

FG - most of the really hard labour is done now it is really just getting down and weeding out in-between plants and working out what is what. image

Ordering the seeds is easy too, it's getting them to grow and getting them in the ground that will be the challenge, little bit worried about size of GH actually.  image

Panda, least you will appreciate the lie in now, always nice to go back to a warm bed instead of leaving it. image

That's it, coffee break over, back to it. image

Nice morning but been cold during the night. Day off the garden for me as going up to town see auntie in hospital. Two hard graft days at the weekend paid off tho as garden looking so much better now leaves tidied.

An awful lot of crows on the lawn this morning does anyone know if crows eat beechnuts? They are welcome to them all if they do!

Have a good day everyone whatever Monday holds for you
