Morning all, again quick peep, this chatter is so addictive, last year was listening to Radio 4 snippets of conversation series on way home from work, that was good but this forum is so much more so.
Our pool cleaner is called Fred, but think he might be for the chop as he keeps missing the leaves, perhaps we should get a Freda, might be more efficient!
Some pics of my efforts with bulb pots, obviously not much to see, the before the after picture, which I hope will be stunning, not convinced all those bulbs have enough room but Monty said they would be fine.
This is a pic of my Rudbecki too, I planted them from seed and despite being beaten down a bit by the recent rain they are still looking very cheerful.
Now really have to get back to the garden, sneaked home with 50 daffs to fill a few gaps, have to get them planted before OH back on Friday.
Have a good day all.

Morning All, Congrats to little Chicky, I'm sure she will be fine, when I passed my test my instructor told me to take it easy as over the next twelve months I was going to learn to drive. I think thats very true.
Picked up parcel it was plants so now I have to find somewhere to put them. The pansies are easy but I need to find somewhere sensible for the Aconitum so that grandchildren cant get access. Mind you we spend a lot of time walking the garden and learning about the plants to the eldes one knows that a lot of the plants I grow are very poisonous so she always asks me about picking them.
Bought them from Grasslands, I think it's Verdun who uses them a lot. Have to say they were very good and, considering they are perennials so not looking their best at the moment, they are in fairly good nick, so hoping for great things from them next year.
Just waiting for tulips, more alliums and peony to arrive now and then I am finished for the year.
Woody enjoy your visits and don' forget the piccies.
Lily, I bet you sister is very grateful for all the help, moving is horrible. The only box thats getting packed in this house will have me in it. I'm moving nowhere.
Glad the wrist is holding up Dove.
Bekkie, I hope you hurry up and get your phone so you can post more often, I miss your sense of humour.
Don't name anything, not worth it, most of the time I cant remember the name of my own children.
Secondborn always names her cars, the current one is called Gladys as the reg contains the letter PUE.

Hope to go to East Ruston, Beth Chatto's and perhaps Bressingham on the garden front, with a few other places too.
Off line for a bit now...................
Enjoy - East Ruston is free for RHS members this month - I was thinking only yesterday that I might take myself out there for a day
