Liri - you'd think under the circumstances the council could find another solution for residents.
The big buddleia I hacked to the ankles and started digging out recently, has loads of new growth. I'll have to get the man with the digger to get it out when I get the extension founds done. It's rooted under concrete at some point, so no chance. My shed roof needs doing too. So much to do - so little time.. and so many aching limbs
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, Fairy I agree with your last sentance, I'm aching all over but I'm sure a couple of pain killers will sort that out. BM Hope everything goes well and that you attract lots of buyers. Hope everyone else is fit and well, sorry to hear about the cold Chicky.
Weather here is lovely, it promises to be a glorious day. Not sure what I'm going to tackle its either painting the grandchildrens playhouse or aerating the lawn. I think Ill get more satisfaction out of the playhouse so maybe thats the way to go.
Take it easy today Yvie. I think painting might be less painful than aerating! My shoulders are still complaining from swinging a pickaxe and digging. I still have some 'window' boxes to do for the back fence but I'll need to get some battens first. Another one is ready to plant up though. They are a bit more like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon rather than a green wall...
chicky - keep taking the tablets

Clari thats some company car, missed your post the last time I was on. Do you have to paint it or can you just drive it round as it is.
Fairy, the playhouse won, it's all painted except I need to find out the black paint to redo the hinges, It was easier to repaint them rather than cut round them. It looks very pretty, I'll post piccies when I've totally finished.
Haven't the energy to tackle the lawn and I really need to pick up some sand to top dress it so that will have to wait.
Its so warm here it's like the middle of summer, hubby is sunbathing in the garden topping up the holiday tan.
Glad the little white mouse is still going strong.
Was enjoying a lovely cosy lie in when my phone rang . . . it was Pa Panda wanting to come round with the lawn mower (for those that don't know, we share one )
Half the lawn is mowed - machine is not working on all pistons He left the rest to me and then took me to the GC I had some vouchers
Oh all right Dove, I bought a couple of anemones - Prinz Heinrich and Konigin Charlotte, a pot of the sweetest smelling pansies - Red Wing, a large square pot and a heavily reduced Corylus avellana Red Magestic to go in it

Remember when I said I'd gotten a new company car? It's even got a meat wagon cage in the back!
Still can't remember the garlic I wanted. Can anyone recommend a variety that will thrive in South Yorkshire?
Wow Clari - are you going to convert it? (The van, not the garlic)

Off for a look around. I'll drop back in later.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
