Well, pride goes before a fall - literally in my case
I just stepped out of the back door, turned my ankle and went flat on my face, hitting my face on some large flower pots on the terrace. Thank goodness OH was here! I've bashed my right knee which is turning black, the left side of my face, which I fully expect to be multi-coloured by tomorrow, and my left hand and wrist is painful. ........
Cheers folks. wrist was painful so got cab to a&e. have broken small bone in left wrist - got a splint and appt at ortho tomorrow morning. left wrist thankfully but still so much i cant do and OH doesnt drive.
Now I'm a multi-coloured Dove

Cheeky Fairy . Cultivating that rustic look here. Thats my "sit and eat breakfast" bench - it would hurt my morning eyes if i painted it pink .......because there isn't any other colour
Hi Dove, Sorry to hear about your fall, but as someone on here said, you dont do things by half. Ive taken to a colour scheme of purple, burgunday, pink and green recently so I suspect you would blend in here rather well at the moment. Hope everything heals up soon.
Chicky, you may have answered a question I was going to put on here re a plant I saw in Turkey, piccy below
Do we think its the same as yoru Sky Rocket (I think remembered the name) it did have a burgundy shade to the plumes and lookes fluffy just like your photo.
Oh so excited at Chickys piccy that I forgot to say Morning, or I suppose it should be Afternoon now.
The man has just finished cutting my tree down and trimming the conifers so I'm popping out to B&Q to buy paint (cuprinol moss green) to pain my shed. (they one by the dreaded extension). Will post a piccy when its done, but dont hold your breath as it may take sometime. Oh by the way bought a small hanging basket yesterday full of pansies the variety is rasberry ripple and they are lovely colours, if you like pansies and shades of pink then they could be for you. Catch up later.
Chicky - your bench looks the same as mine! Actually, I quite like the rustic look too, but this one was covered in old peeling paint and looked manky. I left seating/tables behind at my house nearby, but I was moving in with my partner at the time and we got a big wooden set. This garden's too small for that! I used to sit on the steps of my deck for a morning cuppa...was never much good with proper seats
You could try pale pink..to go with that grass and to break you gently into the day...
I'll get my coat...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Oh, Dove's got bruises, what happened? Hope you are OK Dove.
Too much to tell swiftly BL
Glad you had a lovely time.
Very pretty chicky. Those flowers look very tactile. That bench could do with a coat of paint...can I send you some?
Naughty fairy.....
