Glad it's not too bad Dove, and hope it's less painful now,
Here in Belgie we've (well, alright, I've) mown the 'lawn' and done the edges (!), given the holly and laurel hedges a severe haircut and shredded the prunings. Question now is have I got cyanide poisoning from shredding the fresh laurel? Given that I'm sitting here and not lying in a heap in the garden, possibly not...?
Ooh Dove still sounds very painful, but glad its not that bad it needs plaster. Hope you don't feel too achy from bumps and bruises. Best wishes and hugs....gentle ones xx can I be a little cheeky.....take more water with it next time......just joking Dove....lots of love x
Hope all other poorly people are feeling better.
Did a little housework then sat in garden.
Yes Beaus mum, got loads bubble wrap, paper and boxes etc. Will let you know if I need a hand
Not sure Steve...but since you're still in one piece...
watch out though...Verdun may pinch your waffles...
That sounded a bit 'ooh matron'
Glad you're not too bad Dove - nuisance more than anything.
Busy day at work, but I've done a bit of mortaring of stones and small rocks round the little pond I'm making so that they don't get knocked into the depths.
Yes - 3 degrees this morning Verd, but you're right, if we get the cold clear nights , we get the lovely colours. All too often it turns to cold, wild and wet and the leaves disappear before we get a chance to enjoy them. Loads of berries on the cotoneasters just now for the birds to enjoy.
I'm off for a quick look round now before I organise some dinner
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hope there's no frost tonight Fairy as I still have some cuttings to take. Just one more bed to weed at the back and I'll be on top of it again. Then the front
Very awkward to do anything much Dove isn't it. Even down to tearing off a piece of toilet roll I hope you are being well looked after and that you won't need a splint after two weeks.
Lily - I wish I had sat down in the garden. It just didn't occur to me so I just kept battering on. If it's as nice tomorrow I will make a point of it
