That fall.sounds nasty dove, hope.you mend quickly.
Got through lots of mini jobs today, running around on errands, paper/computer stuff etc
Every intention of going out for a walk but ran out of time so instead sat with feet up in garden waiting for son and mum.
Liriodendron (my new tree nit the newish forumer!) has leaves turning brown from edges then to centre, hoping its autumn and not sinister but if it is i have the receipt.
Going to sheff botanical gardens on Sunday in another 'tree search' , still a bit early but I'll enjoy it anyway and the weather should be better than last time i went (boggy and muddy upto your knees!).
Cheers folks. wrist was painful so got cab to a&e. have broken small bone in left wrist - got a splint and appt at ortho tomorrow morning. left wrist thankfully but still so much i cant do and OH doesnt drive.

Sorry about the wrist Dove, bet you have a few bruises too! Ouch! To be fair you were pretty lucky not to have done more damage from the description of your fall, i hope it heals quickly x
Sorry about your moms fall to Verdun, but glad shes ok. I think we have pinched a bit of your cornish weather here in the west mids, its a bostin day!
That sounds painful, Dove. I hope you have some heavy duty painkillers.
Its a lovely day here. Lots of insects buzzing around. I've taken a few photos to put on later when I can get on t'other computer. OH is hogging it at the mo.
I hope Verduns mum is OK.
I am visiting Mum and Dad tomorrow. The district nurse is coming to check on Dad, then if we have time, I will take Mum on a visit to Norwell nurseries near Newark.
I have put my surplus seed on the seed wishlist if anyone wants anything please PM me.
Verdun ((hugs)) sorry about your mums fall but it may have a silver lining - falls get Soc Services to take things very seriously indeed!
Bruised face, jaw and lip and very bruised knee and sprained ankle - only just beginning to notice aches and pains elsewhere. Glad the pot I hit with my face was a big plastic one and not one of the big terrecotta type ones
