Gravy & Beef drool ...chilli con Carne here not wasting sunshine being inside cooking
Hope the sting is okay Fairy.
Lizzie not sure when you go but have a lovely time in Italy...careful not too much pasta remember the waistline second thoughts eat loads and then maybe I won't have to eat any Might have to have some tomorrow as undergardener has worked hard today and . Also helped me paint the shed and now I have low lites in my hair and freckles on my legs..he is a messy painter that's why no help wanted painting potting bench & staging as it's green
Have decided to rearrange the lounge Well move my sofa from one side of the room to the other! Have just realised that I can't see the garden anymore It was my idea to move it. Don't know how OH would feel if I moved it back . . . he wasn't keen on the move in the first place Now have to tidy up a log of toot that I have now exposed
Hi all, quiet weekend didn't materialise! Friday leaving do after work, driving then home for wine. Saturday Aloe Vera house party thing, driving then home for wine, Today BILs to see new house and wish niece happy birthday, then again home for wine.
BIL is taking out 4 trees from his new garden - of course all on my want list. As he's 60 miles away and wants to get them out so he can turf in the next few weeks it's gonna be tricky to organise. not sure how well trees will transplant, how spread and deep the roots will be or even what the trees are! Have put a few pics on a new thread so please have a look. Gave OH instructions to take photos and close ups of leaves, errr yeah right, see the thread - I'll be lucky not to get laughed and sneared at for IDs!!!! Still hopefully worth the price of a hire lorry than 4 trees from GC and delivery charge.
Not looked back but I see Fairy's been hard at it again, made of girders trhese scots (maybe you can come dig out some trees for me FG?)
I've just popped in too as back aching, it's blooming lovely out there today and neighbours say rain all day tomorrow!
I told you KEF I would do the painting! Bet your highlights look well trendy
Oh panda you will have to move back if you can't see the garden now Like you I can't believe how long those jobs take and so soul destroying when you end up not liking it! Grrrr
Wow sounds like busy drinkingweekend mrs garden, nice!
I don't know much about trees so can not advise on moving them but do know they are expensive so if you can get them then go for it! And good luck
Oh runny break hope OH not too hot! You'll have to share your magnums with him now
But you must be lovely neighbour that everyone likes a natter too which is very nice
