Yes, I'm up very early. Cant sleep. Have knocked a mug of coffee all over the living room carpet,so spent half an hour mopping up and squirting carpet cleaner.
I nearly trod on a hedgehog by the back door last night, when I went out to the compost heap to throw out some flowers that had gone over. Seems a decent size, but not as big as the one sha**ing a plug tray last week. Either a good size one from this year or mum I think. Either way, I am happy that we still have a hedgehog population after little boy hedgehog died.
I'm hoping for some rescue hedgehogs later on, to stir the genepool up a bit.

Bit too much effort though will stick with words - and as an ex English teacher was always a bit of 'thing' in college! Funnily enough was reading the posts of 2 ex students, recent ones too - and all I could do was cringe at their spelling mistakes and misuse of homophones! Probably good thing I retired, can't have been any good anyway.
Thanks for vote of confidence in rosebush - we will see, on a nettle hunt today - again!
